Dan Arnold
Dan Arnold serves as President & COO of Henry S. Miller Brokerage, LLC, the largest independent, family owned full service commercial real estate firm in Texas. With offices in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso, Mr. Arnold oversees the firm’s Office, Industrial, Retail, Investment, Land, Multi-family, Corporate Services, Appraisal, Consulting and Management Divisions. The firm is also actively involved in development and investment services across all product lines for both corporate and individual clients.
Prior to joining the Miller organization in 2000, Mr. Arnold spent 29 year sat The Swearingen Company, which he helped form in 1972. He headed the firm’s Project Leasing Division for 8 years before establishing its Corporate Services Division and later served as President and COO for 10 years. Mr. Arnold has been a consistent top producer, achieving the number one producer at both firms, multiple times.
Mr. Arnold’s primary expertise is focused on assisting Office and Industrial clients across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, through tenant representation, acquisition and disposition investment services, land assemblage and project management.
Mr. Arnold offers an intense focus, creative strategic thinking and strong organizational skills that provides clients measurable, value added results. With over 45 years of commercial real estate experience and executive decision making, Mr. Arnold now leads the largest independently owned commercial real estate firm in Texas.
Mr. Arnold is a recipient of the prestigious Stemmons Service Award, often described as the “Heisman Trophy” of Dallas commercial real estate. The award is given annually by the North Texas Association of Realtors to an active and productive commercial realtor who exemplifies the highest professional standards and ethical conduct, as well as active involvement in professional organizations and civic affairs.
Mr. Arnold is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtor (SIOR) and the National Association of Real Estate Boards. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Commercial Investment Division and on the Arbitration and Grievance Committee of the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors.
Mr. Arnold grew up in Liberty, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. After serving in the U.S. Army, he moved to Dallas, Texas, and pursued graduate business and real estate studies at North Texas State University. Mr. Arnold is married with 2 children, 4 grandchildren and serves as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Dallas.
