David was born in Victoria, TX and went to college at Baylor University where he graduated in 1981 Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA while playing Basketball for the Bears as a shooting guard.  He started his real estate career down in Houston in 1983 with Hank Dickerson but moved to Dallas in 1984.  In 1987 he went to work for Hillwood Development Corporation where he spent over 6 years before launching his own company, Hardesty Realty Group in 1994.  David represents several LLs and developers as well as regional and national pad users including Chick-Fil-A.

David is married to his wife Beth and has 2 children.  His son Kyle is a Freshman at Baylor and his daughter Emily is a Sophomore at Texas A & M where she plays Volleyball and started as a true Freshman (Whoop)!
