Kate Cavanaugh
Kate Alpert Cavanaugh is Vice President, Commercial Services and Senior Business Development Officer with Stewart Title. She began her career in real estate in 2004 working on due diligence, closings, and client and investor relations with a successful Dallas retail and land developer. She joined Stewart in early 2007, is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and has secured numerous multi-million-dollar transactions across the United States. Within the real estate community, Kate has served in numerous leadership positions within The Real Estate Council and specifically focuses on community investment as Vice Chair of the Community Fund.. Prior to real estate, Kate was a Christian Education for two churches, developing women’s, family and children’s ministries and led various charitable endeavors as a volunteer. Her current ministry pursuits include chairing the boards of the Dallas Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast and The Kukhoma Project, a home and program for pregnant teen mothers who are victims of abuse in Lusaka, Zambia. Her passion for these young women was born out the time she spent at Camp Life, a program of Family Legacy, also in Zambia. Kate is an outgoing Board member of CARE, a organization dedicated to assisting families and individuals of all ages navigate the hardships of addiction and providing resources for solutions. Kate and her husband Chip have four twenty something children together and are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
