As a Managing Director for The Beck Group, Kip Daniel is continuing to build upon the leadership skills he developed over his career in architecture.  Starting in 1981, Kip established a branch office location in Dallas for the Houston architecture firm he joined after graduation in 1978 from Rice University.

After purchasing the branch office from the parent company in 1983, Kip grew Urban Architecture to become a 45 person firm with five stockholding partners by 1999.  In late 1999, Urban Architecture merged with Beck, a national construction company, and created a new form of project delivery, providing an enterprise system of Integrated Project Delivery.

Kip is a partner at Beck, working across all national offices of Beck.  He is responsible for coordinating many business development efforts nationally, as well as providing support in growing architecture service capabilities in the four regional offices of Beck.  Through his chairing of the Beck Architecture Council, Kip works to ensure consistent design quality and services across the country.

Kip has been married for 38 years to his wonderful wife Suzan, and they have two daughters, Megan Daniel Manley, age 32, and Katie, age 23.
