Reagan Dixon
Reagan Dixon has been in the commercial real estate business for 50 years. He started in 1970 with Grady Jordan and Company. In 1973, he started Dixon, Garfield & McCall with his partners Ray Garfield and Rick McCall. In 1982, they sold their company to Merrill Lynch and became Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate. While at Merrill Lynch, he was the leading producer in the Dallas office in 1982, 1983 and 1984. He was the nation’s top producer in 1983. In 1985, he became the Regional Manager of Merrill Lynch’s 5 state area until 1989, when he joined Cushman & Wakefield as Dallas’ Branch Manager. During his 12 years with C&W, he received the national Branch Manager of the Year award in 1994 and the People’s Choice Award in 1998 for being the most admired manager in the country. In 2000, Dixon received the Dallas Business Journal Mentor Award for his guidance, encouragement and inspiration to the commercial real estate community. He was also recognized by NTCAR as the recipient of the McCauley Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009. From 2002 until the present he has been a consultant and coach for brokers, managers and owners across the country.
Dixon holds the CCIM designation and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certificate. He has served on numerous NTCAR committees and was the Chairman of the Board in 1992. He is founder and first president of the Land Council of North Texas, the founder of Manager’s Forum (which consists of the top managers of commercial real estate firms in Dallas), and he was one of the Charter members of the Board of Directors of The Real Estate Council.
Dixon has served on the Board of Elders for Fellowship Bible Church of Park Cities, All Saints Anglican Church and Highland Country Fellowship. He served on the Board of Directors of Sky Ranch for 20 years.
