Garrison Efird serves as a Senior Managing Director and specializes in tenant representation. Partnering directly with firm President and Vice Chairman Jim Cooksey, he has extensive expertise in navigating both local and international transactions.

Over the past decade, Efird has advised companies on over 10 million square feet, accounting for $1 billion in aggregate value. In 2024, he helped negotiate the single largest lease completed in North America.

As an expert in Office and Industrial, he has significant depth in technology, third-party logistics (3PL), financial services, law firm, private equity & venture capital portfolio advisory, and education industry sectors.

Efird is also a market leader for Newmark’s Technology and Innovation Practice Group; actively expanding numerous prominent and emerging software, aerospace & defense, and robotic companies across North America.
